Merchant Winds - Concert Sat 24th November 2007
22 Oct 2007
Merchant Winds are a quintet of talented wind players, four of whom form part of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra's renowned wind section. They step out from the middle of the orchestra to take centre stage in the atmospheric surroundings of Eilean Donan. The Castle's Banqueting Hall will reverberate to the gentle strains of wind quintets by Hindemith and Holst, and they'll even play a Charleston!
Merchant Winds are Jeremy Bushell (horn), Sarah Andrew (bassoon), Timothy Rundle (oboe), Barry Deacon (clarinet) and Voreen Ryan (flute).
